The tide has turned in the United States. Voters sent a resounding message in a traditionally liberal state when they voted a Republican to fill deceased U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy's seat in Massachusetts.

The liberal Washington leaders felt they had this one in the bag. They weren't counting on the common sense, tired-of-the-same-old-tactics mentality of the voting public. They weren't counting on people, real, hardworking, American citizens to get behind a Republican and put him in this once liberally sacred chair.

This is just the beginning across our nation. More liberals will fall in November. Those thought to be untouchable, such as Bart Gordon, are out of the way and the path is now paved for us to go after critical seats.

Scott Brown has promised to stop Obamacare with his crucial "forty-first vote" and now the liberals are scrambling to deflect attention. They want to tax banks that received government assistance. This is wrong, since these banks already repaid their debt, with interest, and now they're supposed to pay another tax? This is simply an attempt to shift attention away from the real issue: America is getting sick and tired of the stupidity and callous actions of the liberal Washington leaders.

We need to continue to speak loudly and clearly: go home, liberals, and let those who understand the needs of our country run the government.
